Hello and Welcome to my website!

My name is Debra Becks Cooper, and I have been an artist for most of my life. Drawing and painting has always been a way for me to connect with, and experience more fully, the beauty in the things that I see.

I have created this website as an online studio where I can show my paintings, provide links where to buy available paintings, and also to my art blog. I invite you to visit my blog, where I have been posting my work for the past 10 years.
There are many images of my work in progress in the studio, and also links where to buy                                                                     the available paintings.

I paint directly from life, and set up my own still life arrangements to paint from. Each painting I create is original and one of a kind. I work mostly on small hardboard panels, and occasionally on canvas.

I use Artist’s quality oil paints and materials, and finish the dried painting with a layer of varnish.
Finished paintings are posted for auction on ebay, and I also have a store on Etsy.
The buyer receives their painting unframed and carefully wrapped for shipping.
Also included is a signed certificate (certificate of authenticity) with info about the painting and my contact information.
